Drew Ballard spent 15 years in piano bars, building a 6,500-song repertoire from audience requests. Lately he's turned that same instinct toward something else: parody songs aimed at political targets in Utah.
It started with the hyperscale data center approved in Box Elder County, encroaching on wetlands he'd loved since he was a kid. He heard the name "Kevin O'Leary" and thought "Eleanor Rigby" — and the song wrote itself.
