On Thursday, the campaign to repeal Prop 4 hit the statewide signature threshold to land on the November ballot and has cleared the district-level requirement in 20 of the required 26 state Senate districts.

Prop 4—the voter-approved 2018 anti-gerrymandering initiative—created an independent redistricting commission and banned partisan gerrymandering. Utah Republican Party leaders are spearheading the repeal effort.

The campaign currently sits at 90% or more of the verified signatures needed in six additional Senate districts. Unless there's an unexpected stall, full ballot qualification is imminent.

If the current pace holds, expect the final districts to cross the finish line within days.
